How Auto Clean Team keeps customers and washers safe — and what to do when something feels wrong.
In an emergency, call 911 first. Auto Clean Team is not an emergency service. Use the in-app incident report only after you are safe.
Application & approval
Every washer completes a multi-step onboarding and is reviewed by an Auto Clean Team admin before they can claim any job. Approval is never automatic.
Background screening
Screening is part of approval. The screening provider is not yet connected during the controlled beta, so approval is currently manual. We do not claim a screening service is active when it is not.
Privacy by default
Customer contact details and exact address stay hidden from washers until a job is successfully claimed. Only the assigned washer receives what's needed to perform the service.
Details hidden before claim
Before a claim, washers see only an approximate location (city/county), the service, vehicle size, and time — never the customer's name, phone, or street address.
Readiness & completion
Customers confirm their vehicle is ready and accessible. Washers confirm completion with a checklist so both sides know the service was delivered.
Incident reporting & human review
Any user can report an incident in the app. Every report is reviewed by a person — never by an automated system alone.
Weather & unsafe conditions
Washers or customers can request a reschedule for weather or unsafe conditions. No one is asked to work in unsafe conditions.
Fair feedback
A single rating never automatically punishes a washer. Quality feedback is used for insight, reviewed by people, and never shown to the washer in a way that enables retaliation.
Zero-tolerance policy
The following lead to immediate removal from Auto Clean Team:
- •Harassment or threats
- •Discrimination of any kind
- •Theft or intentional damage
- •Account sharing or impersonation
